This cuvée pays tribute to Antoinette Isautier, the wife of Charles Isautier (one of the founders), who took over the company in 1865 and gave it decisive momentum.

Raw material: Molasses

Ageing: Tropical ageing in fine-grain French oak barrels (including ex-Cognac casks and former Isautier rum barrels)

Tasting notes

Nose: Fresh, minty, and aniseed at first. It opens up with notes of citrus fruits, ginger, pear, and stone fruits. With aeration, hints of cocoa, almond, and sweet spices emerge.

Palate: Powerful and full-bodied, yet with a beautiful roundness thanks to long ageing. Flavours of stewed fruits and wood dominate, followed by chocolate, ginger, and vanilla.

Finish: Very long and persistent, marked by intense woody notes and a return of fresh minty and aniseed character. It is described as flavourful and complex.
