Originally designed for travel retail, it is matured in heavily charred oak casks, which enhances its smoky, spicy, and maritime character.

Bottled at 45.8% ABV, this NAS whisky bears the Talisker craftsmanship, reflecting the rough sea, spray, and salty breeze. Available only in the 1-liter format, it offers a powerful and distinctive experience within the Talisker universe.

The appearance is a deep amber-red, intense and bright, evoking golden ashes.

Nose: Talisker Dark Storm delivers a powerful smoke, combined with notes of black pepper, sea spray, salted caramel, and a subtle fruity sweetness (prune, baked apple).

Palate: the texture reveals itself as light to medium, with flavors of intense pepper, peat smoke, slightly fruity notes, complemented by vanilla malt, cinnamon, and honey roast nuts. The finish is medium to long; it remains marked by dry smoke, piquant pepper, touches of salty liquorice and bitter cacao, with a pleasant saline and spicy persistence.
