GIGONDAS DUC DE MONFORT 2022 MAISON BOUACHON 75CL

This Gigondas Duc de Montfort is produced in the village of Gigondas, in the Vaucluse department, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains. Nestled between Carpentras, Orange, and Vaison-la-Romaine, Gigondas is home to remarkable vineyards, where the roots of the vines draw their nourishment from the rocky slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail, reaching the highest parts of the appellation.

Tasting Notes:
The wine displays a deep, dark ruby colour. The nose is highly expressive, revealing ripe plum and cherry aromas complemented by hints of chocolate and black pepper. On the palate, it is smooth and generous, with well-integrated tannins that are beautifully balanced by its rich texture. Full-bodied and powerful, it offers flavours of candied dark fruit and liquorice, leading to a long finish with a pleasant touch of sweetness.
