From the prestigious Saint-Émilion Grand Cru terroir, Château Yon-Figeac 2019 is an exceptional wine crafted from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The vines, with an average age of 32 years, flourish on clay-sandy soils enriched with iron deposits, bringing depth, elegance, and complexity to the wine.
The estate follows certified HVE3 sustainable viticulture practices, with traditional ploughing methods that respect the character of the terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested to preserve their quality. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by approximately 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels.
