ISAUTIER APOLLONIE ÉDITION 2023 58% 70CL

Apollonie is an intense and indulgent rum, paying tribute to Apollonie Isautier, the wife of Louis Isautier, one of the founders of the Isautier distillery in 1845.

This cuvée embodies the expertise of Maison Isautier with a blend of agricultural rums aged 10 years and more, matured in cognac casks made of fine-grained French oak, specially selected to encourage a light extraction of oak tannins that slowly integrate into the rum.

On the nose, it is first indulgent and very round, with notes of pastry, butter, and sugar. Then come hints of exotic fruits as well as woody notes.

On the palate, it is powerful and full-bodied, sweet and fruity, with accents of exotic fruits and freshly cut sugarcane.

The finish is very long, leaving flavors of sugarcane juice and exotic wood.
