Vineyard and Winemaker: Château Gloria

Château Gloria was created by Henri Martin and is unique in its style, as the 50 hectares of this vineyard were assembled piece by piece over the years through the purchase of parcels, all of which are classified as Grand Cru in the 1855 classification. The origin of the terroirs, the meticulous care given to cultivation, and the winemaking process explain its international reputation.

Tasting Notes:

With a deep purple-black color, the 2019 Gloria bursts from the glass with the energy of a young puppy, offering aromas of stewed plum, preserved black cherry, and warm blackcurrant, along with hints of spice box, pencil lead, wood smoke, and dried mint. Medium-bodied to full-bodied (14.2% alcohol), the palate is filled with juicy black fruit flavors, framed by approachable, ripe, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing pleasantly with earthy notes.
