Bumbu XO, an artisanal rum, rich and complex, crafted to order and conceived as a work of art. Bumbu XO is a blend of different maturations that can be aged up to 15 years, all aged in American bourbon barrels. A finish in Spanish sherry casks, made from white oaks and grown in the Andalusian region, elevates this exceptional product. Distilled and aged in Panama in an ancestral distillery dating from 1890, the still we use dates from 1912. Our sugarcane is produced locally, carefully selected among the best Panama producers by the master distiller. A unique product that already stands out as a must-have. Like the original version, BUMBU XO owes its name to a 400-year-old rum “Bumbu” made by sailors and traders of the Antilles dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. BUMBU XO marks the next chapter in the reconstruction of this authentic Caribbean legend. A matte black glass bottle of ultra-thick, premium quality, adorned with a tarnished metal X and a silver screen-printed Caribbean map on the back. The bottle is crowned with our rustic oversized Bumbu cork, opening with a “pop” reminiscent of the golden age of piracy. 40° rum, BUMBU XO offers a new experience, a rum with character, to be enjoyed neat for connoisseurs or with an excellent cigar, but it also works perfectly in cocktails.
