This distillery owes a lot to Cuba: it was on that neighboring island that its founder, Andrés Brugal Montaner, was trained in rum-making techniques.

Brugal Añejo is aged for two to five years in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels specially selected. The light, dry taste of Brugal Añejo makes it perfect for cocktails.
