Taittinger Prestige Rosé is immediately distinguished by its intense shimmering hue the secret of which lies in the fact that it is a blend more complex and more expensive to produce. A quantity of red wine (15%) from the best Pinot Noirs from the Montagne de Reims and Riceys is indeed added to the final blend to give this cuvée its incomparable colour and vibrant intensity in the mouth. The high proportion of Chardonnay (30%) that completes the blend brings the elegance and delicacy that underlies Taittinger's characteristic style.
