Cuvée : Vieux Château des Combes
Domain : Vieux Château des Combes
Appellation : Saint-Emilion grand cru
Label : AOC
Located about 5 km from St Emilion the estate's vineyard is spread over a hilly terrain and planted mainly with Merlot and Cabernet Franc with a little Cabernet Sauvignon. Cellar master Vincent Cachau has elaborated a tasty and concentrated red aged 12 months in barrels. It has a deep purple colour and young intense spicy aromas with hints of blackcurrant damson and vanilla. The finish is long and sophisticated with perfect balance.
